Parent Coaching & Parent Training
Helping Parents Understand the "Why" Behind Their Child's Behavior
Parenting doesn't come with a manual.
When your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional outbursts, ADHD, autism, trauma, or challenging behaviors, it's easy to feel exhausted, discouraged, or unsure what to try next.
Parent coaching provides a supportive space to better understand your child's needs while learning practical strategies that can improve daily life at home.
The goal isn't to create "perfect" children. It's to strengthen the relationship between you and your child while building skills that help everyone succeed.
Parent Coaching May Help With:
ADHD
Autism
Emotional regulation
Anxiety
School-related concerns
Oppositional behaviors
Meltdowns
Trauma-related behaviors
Attachment challenges
Family communication
Executive functioning
Parent stress and burnout
My Approach
Every child is different.
Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all behavior programs, I work collaboratively with parents to understand what may be driving a child's behavior and identify strategies that fit your family's unique situation.
Whenever possible, I use approaches that are trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and relationship-focused.
That means looking beyond behavior to ask an important question:
"What is this behavior communicating?"
When we understand the reason behind the behavior, we can choose interventions that are more effective and more compassionate.
What Parent Coaching Looks Like

Some families attend coaching without their child present, while others benefit from including the child in portions of treatment.
